UPESSC Uttar Pradesh TET Examination 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed (Final Year Passed / Appearing), OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks/ Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing), OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks/ Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms, OR
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8)
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks along with B.Ed / B.Ed (Special Education)(Passed / Appearing – Final Year), OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with 2-Year BTC (D.El.Ed) Training Passed, OR
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with 4-Year B.El.Ed course, OR
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with B.Sc.Ed course Passed, OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks / Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
