Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class)	Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC), or 45% marks with D.El.Ed./BTC as per NCTE 2002 Regulations, or 50% marks with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or 50% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC) are also eligible.
Class 6th to 8th (Elementary Class)	Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with D.El.Ed./BTC, B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education), or an equivalent teacher education qualification as prescribed by NCTE. Alternatively, candidates with 10+2 and a 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. are also eligible. Regularly appointed in-service teachers are also eligible as per the notification.
